PHP4+, MySQL3+, mail server These are the system requirements to run Tick-It: - A web server that supports PHP4 or PHP5 - A mail server that is accessible from PHP - MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite database Optional: - PHP: IMAP extension enabled [required for the email-to-ticket conversion] - PHP: ICONV extension enabled [required to convert non-latin emails to UTF-8] - PHP: GD extension enabled [checks image validity and creates the acc. number image on login] - PHP: PSPELL extension enabled [required for the spellcheck feature] Most hosting accounts can be used without any problem. PSPELL is probably the only thing that might be inaccessible. Also, in order to work with different languages the PSPELL extension requires corresponding dictionaries whose availability cannot be detected. If you are unsure about the system requirements run a Tick-It Compatibility Test from your server in order to receive detailed info about the supported/unsupported features of your PHP installation.
